Alessandra Fazio is the newly elected President of the Italian Packaging Institute for the two-year period 2022-2024, voted unanimously during the Shareholders' Meeting, which was held today in Venice. Alessandra Fazio holds the position of Head of Quality in Nestlé Italiana, to which she lands, after a path of increasing responsibility in multinational food companies, which began in the world of converters. In the plan of proposals for the two-year presidency, in first place she appointed two Vice Presidents she wanted at her side, as an added value for skills and experience: Chiara Faenza - Responsible for Sustainability and Values ​​Innovation | CSR Manager COOP Italia and Osvaldo Bosetti - Group Industrial Europe Packaging Director and CEO | Goglio North Europe.

The Ethical Packaging Charter Foundation supports the second edition of the Master in Eco Packaging Design-Systemic Innovation Design, a one-year multidisciplinary training course aimed at creating specific sectoral skills in designers of materials, structures, containers and packaging systems aimed at impacts prevention and reduction.

Marco Scatto è uno Scienziato Macromolecolare che ha maturato la sua esperienza accademica tra l’Università di Venezia e l’Università di Pisa. Ha un’esperienza pluriennale nel trasferimento tecnologico nella manifattura avanzata di materie plastiche in settori quali il packaging, l’automotive, il biomedicale e l’aereospazio. Ha partecipato a molteplici progetti di ricerca nazionali ed europei, è autore di 29 pubblicazioni scientifiche e coautore di 7 brevetti. La sua pluriennale esperienza nei biopolimeri termoplastici dedicati al packaging, lo ha portato a collaborare con diversi brand owner e aziende di trasformazione nell’ottica di sviluppare nuovi packaging sostenibili. Attualmente è coinvolto sia in iniziative di consulenza scientifica sia di docenza presso l’Università degli Studi della Repubblica di San Marino, Università di Padova, Università Cà Foscari di Venezia. He is also a lecturer for the Italian Packaging Institute and serves as a Scientific Advisor.
