May is a month full of events for the Italian Packaging Institute and for the Packaging Ethical Charter Foundation, which aims to disseminate the 10 principles enunciated by the Ethical Packaging Charter, and to stimulate visions and reflections around the ethical design of packaging and a new business culture.

From May 3 to 6, 2022, at Ipack-Ima 2022, RhoFiera, stand C93 – Hall 5, the Foundation will present and promote the 10 Values of the Charter, it will introduce the community of Ambassadors and the Foundation’s Algorithm; while the Italian Packaging Institute will showcase a preview of the platform specialized in searching packaging suppliers: Packagingfinder.eu.
At the end of the first day, the fuorifiera (offsite) event will include the inauguration of Spazio Cosimo10, the new headquarters of the group, in via Cosimo del Fante 10 in Milan, also equipped to host: exhibitions, awards and corporate events.
On May 4, 2022, from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm, at Ipack-Ima, Spazio Eventi Pav. 2, there will be the event “Sustainable innovation: from the Foundation’s Algorithm to Best Packaging 2022”. It will be an opportunity to introduce the original tool for measuring the sustainability of a packaging, which was developed, together with the Guidelines, by the Foundation’s Sustainability Commission. The Algorithm presentation will be followed by Best Packaging 2022 Contest with the awarding of the winners, sponsored by Ipack-Ima, Conai and the Foundation itself.
After the Milan fair experience, Venice will host two days of events full of current news and ispiring ideas.
In fact, on May 26, the elective assembly of the Italian Packaging Institute will take place and it will witness the passing of the baton from the outgoing President, Anna Paola Cavanna, to her successor.
On the same day, The Foundation will gather the first Steering Committee of the Ambassadors of the Ethical Packaging Charter, a community that already counts over 25 companies belonging to the industry, who signed the Charter 10 values.
The Conference, titled “Packaging, many faces, one goal”, will take place on May 27, and it will be promoted and organized by the Packaging Ethical Charter Foundation and the Italian Packaging Institute. In the presence of authoritative speakers, there will be testimonies and reflections on the ethical-sustainable development of packaging in a time of unprecedented and hardly readable scenarios.
