B.S. Packaging Science
Clemson University’s Packaging Sciences program is one of a kind in the United States, as it blends diverse fields of biology, chemistry and physics with design, technological engineering and the study of various distribution and transportation technologies.
Packaging science students first complete basic course in science and math, then delving into the intricacies of packaging design, materials, polymers and distribution. A strong science and math background is essential for success. Clemson University offers four emphasis areas including: Distribution, transportation and engineering technology; Materials; Food and health care packaging and finally Package design and graphics.
Furthermore, the faculty, thanks to the numerous industrial partnerships, is able to continuously supply the laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment. Students will therefore have all the essential knowledge to be able to understand and operate within that great world, constantly evolving and full of facets, which is Packaging.
