WHICH PROPOSALS CAN COMPETE?

Packaging proposals in the form of a prototype, on the market or in the industrialization phase, can compete in the year 2020, which are characterized by a commitment to the 10 values of the Ethical Packaging Charter. The proposals must be able, with objective evidence, to demonstrate how in their conception, design, testing and industrialization followed the reference drivers of the Packaging Ethics Charter.
The proposal implies having conducted the design, production, use, consumption and reuse of packaging with the attention paid to the 10 criteria of the Charter.

WHICH PROPOSALS CAN COMPETE?

Any creative solution, even in the form of a design concept, prospectus, drawing, and intellectual and industrial creations: trademarks, patents for inventions and utility models, which stand out for being excellent examples for thinking about the future of packaging. Therefore, they do not necessarily have to be: concrete, industrializable, reproducible in the present time. They must and can be abstract and predictive with descriptive and narrative criteria, including science fiction, imagination and inventiveness, as well as, why not, visionaries. They must represent the narrative of our society future for uses and customs and consequently must envision an image of the packaging chain as it will be in a few years’ time.

 

PROMOTION AND ENHANCEMENT

The event, as a whole, in all its phases, and of course the proposals in competition, are the subject of structured and continuous promotion, with a mix of means of communication, which includes traditional adv, social media, sector fairs and other manifestations of interest, such as the Milan Design Week and transversal fairs.
