The Bacheror degree in Packaging involves the study of traditional Packaging materials and analysis of innovative Packaging materials. Through the use of technical knowledge the program aims to satisfy the economical and industrial needs of companies.

Among the wide range of academic curricula found at RIT is the Bacherlor degree in Packaging Science, further enhanced through either of the 2 combined-accelerated Bachelor's/Master's providing significant advantage on the professional field.

This Master degree aims toward the acquisition of knowledge on packaging materials, natural sciences, economy and design. With its practical asset, it also offers the possibility to complete a semester abroad.

This Bachelor degree is characterized by practical workshops and the study of packaging materials, while the Master degree focuses on management, sales and the application of packaging technologies.

The packaging engineering undergraduate program focuses on classroom instruction enhanced through multidisciplinary project-teams finding solutions to real-world packaging and manufacturing problems.
