Bachelor in Packaging Technologies
A leading institution within Thailand’s higher education system, Kasetsart University is committed to excellence in the agricultural science research. Its Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science (Packaging Technologies) are part of the Department of Packaging and Materials Technology (PKMT, former Department of Packaging Technology) that was first established in 1980. Since 2001, the PKMT has been offering the Master degree in Packaging Technology on top of its Bachelor’s program, thus becoming the first institute in the Asia Pacific region to have an academic curriculum that includes all three degree levels in packaging. Packaging technology integrates notions of science, engineering, arts, economics, management and marketing. Furthermore, it covers knowledge and research in the sectors of packaging materials, packaging manufacturing, printing technology, decoration technology, and environmentally-conscious packaging. 4 PhD programs in Packaging Technology ulteriorly enrich the studies comprised within this degree.
